Team Avenue Sports Group Advances Community Model, Internship Incubator, and Florida Chapter Direction After USF AI Think Tank
St. Augustine platform leads September 23 mastermind with Professor Alexandro Castellanos’s University of South Florida AI class; faculty want to expand collaboration as TASG scales listening-to-alignment model statewide
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — September 24, 2026 — Team Avenue Sports Group (TASG) today announced continued momentum across its sports, tech, and real estate platform following a September 23 think tank / mastermind with students from Professor Alexandro Castellanos’s AI class at the University of South Florida (USF). Sessions like this are how TASG works: listen to stories, build human connection, turn communication into collaboration, find alignment, and reverse-engineer the path to the finish line—meeting students where they are and companies where they are.
USF faculty told Managing Partner Thomari Story-Harden they want to expand collaboration with TASG. One professor and one group are pushing the next stage of the model: opening TASG chapters across Florida as the internship and incubator expands chapter by chapter.
“Everything we build starts with a story. Listening creates connection, connection becomes collaboration, and collaboration creates alignment. That’s how we reach the finish line,” said Thomari Story-Harden, Managing Partner, Team Avenue Sports Group.
TASG’s internship and incubator program places USF students on live briefs with TASG operators and partners. Interest has been strong, and TASG is building the intake to match. Students and candidates can apply or join the interest list at teamavenuesportsgroup.com/incubator.
FootSnap was featured during the engagement. FootSnap turns a single smartphone scan of each foot into a 3D model and measurements. Not a medical device. Students could try it alongside conversations on AI, automation, and how partnerships power R&D.
“We meet students and companies where they are, then map the path together and walk it,” said Story-Harden.
TASG connects that work to capital—private equity, venture capital, and family offices—with grants and endowments held as a separate, distinct lane. Combining science, sports, tech, and real estate is how the impact reaches community scale. Community is the heart of the house: helping the next generation with solutions, including the simple power of meeting people on a human level.
“Community is our heart. Sometimes the best solution is meeting someone on a human level before handing them a tool,” said Story-Harden.
TASG is based in St. Augustine, Florida, and is led by managing partners Thomari Story-Harden, who played first base in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization, and Ricardo Shepherd-Bey. The athlete ownership pathway is Locker Room Connections.
Organizations, students, faculty, and partners interested in the internship and incubator, Florida chapters, partner packages, AI and automation advisory, R&D seats, camps and FootSnap, Performance Lab ties, real estate, or the grants and endowments lane can visit teamavenuesportsgroup.com or teamavenuesportsgroup.com/incubator.
