Tampa Baseball Camp: What Three Days Should Cover
How Team Avenue thinks about a three-day Tampa baseball camp: skill, competition, and coaching. Parents can ask to get the date first.

Our next Play Like a Pro camp is a three-day Tampa baseball camp. The date will be announced when registration opens. Team Avenue Baseball has worked with players since 2009 and has taken teams abroad since 2012. Team Avenue has run 60+ camps, clinics, showcases and tournaments, helping student-athletes pursue college and professional baseball through local, national, and international opportunities. Here is what we think three days should cover.
Skill
Fundamentals first: throwing, fielding, and hitting. Short, focused reps a player can repeat at home.
Competition
Players compete, so skills get tested in game situations, not only in drills.
Coaching
Coaches give feedback players can take back to their own teams. Mentors shaped how we coach. Reggie Smith, seven-time MLB All-Star and 1981 World Series champion, is Team Avenue staff and has been a mentor to Thomari for 20 years. Bob Bennett mentored Thomari for eight years and helped build Team Avenue after retiring from Fresno State.
