Baseball Camp or Clinic? How to Choose the Right One
A clinic sharpens one skill. A camp tests the whole player. Here's how to tell which one a player needs right now.

Players and parents ask us this all the time: should I sign up for a camp or a clinic? They aren't the same thing, and picking the right one saves time and money.
A clinic fixes one thing
A clinic is short and focused. It works on one skill, such as hitting, catching or pitching mechanics, with lots of reps. It's the right call when a player already knows what needs work, or a coach has pointed it out.
A camp tests the whole player
A camp runs longer and covers more: fundamentals, game situations and competition. Players see how their skills hold up when the game speeds up. It's the right call when a player wants a fuller picture of where they stand.
Three questions before you sign up
- What does the player want to get better at over the next few months? - Will the coaches give feedback the player can take home and practice? - Does the schedule include game reps, or only drills?
Our take
Many players do best with both: a clinic to work on one skill, then a camp to test it. Whatever you pick, look for coaching a player can repeat at home. We don't promise outcomes. We help players and families understand their options.
